Our favorite place to stop for a chocolate malt and an ice cream cone is at the Sweet Tooth in Jackson, Nebraska. My grandson and I decided to stop in for a treat yesterday.
The sign says "The best malts on Hwy 20" and that is the truth!!
Meet Vicki and Ann, they are the masters of the malts and the famous foot-long chili dog with everything. This puppy will fill the void in an empty stomach!
Here's the lady that started it all, meet Catherine Hohenstein, she has been a fixture in the Sweet Tooth for 33 years. Her daughter Vicki does most of the work now but, Catherine isn't far in case they need an extra hand.
Jaden is sooooooooo happy to get his little boy ice cream cone, you can tell by the look on his face he must be in heaven!
Here is is the famous chocolate malt, looks pretty scrumptious, huh? Bet you will be running to Jackson to get one of these......
Just like the sign says, oh, and don't forget on Halloween they give out free ice cream cones to everyone, including the adults!! So, this year get on your costume and stop by the Sweet Tooth for the best treat you can get on Halloween.... Ice Cream!!!
Jaden had to try the malt as well as the ice cream cone, just to make sure everything tasted ok. Check out the ring around his mouth, I think he enjoyed that cone.Next time you go through Jackson, Nebraska, stop by the Sweet Tooth, they are open April through October, 7 days a week, 11 a.m. - 10 p.m.

We used to stop there for soft serve ice cream cones coming home from shopping in Sioux City. Never tried a malt there but the ice cream is the BEST!
