I always love glass doorknobs, especially when there is a pile of them....
Old bug hand sprayers, love all the graphics and colors.......
Old garden tools, if only they could tell their story.....

There are 7 different towns you can travel to, with 11 different vendors, half of these businesses are only open by appointment only on a normal day but this Saturday they will be open all day, the hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, October 3rd.
You never know what you will find in her booth, this is a combination of a mannequin, a feed sack, and a punching bag ring, which was the skirt for this creative "Bemis Dress Form". She used it to display her jewelry on......
I love the way she used this truck muffler cover to display the pool balls in.......
Tons, and tons of letters, the dish these were in was HUGE........
One of my favorites, I love old advertising, this could be used to display jewelry......
Here is some of the crew, my sister Judy, Sara of Seasons in Carver, myself and Laurie from the Whistle Stop who traveled all the way from Omaha to show her wares for the Bonanza.
Check out the so cool brass tags with the black numbers, aren't they just the cutest locker baskets you could ever ask for?
I'm so excited! A little seed for next year's Bonanza! Wait till you see what else I got yesterday. I'll give you a clue, it's green, embossed, chrome and has a little punch of chartreuse color. It also was in the Expedition yesterday, I'm such a good packer!
Here we go! Photos from the Junk Bonanza 2009. I have finally been revived to a state of consciousness so I can now at least type and download photos for you to look at. Junk Bonanza was spectacular! We met so many great people, to the return customers I just want to say THANK YOU for coming to see us again this year, and to the new customers, hope to see you again, can't wait to see you all in 2010! So with that said here we go......
The corner of the booth as you approach coming up the aisle.....
Two of my happy helpers, my husband David, and Kathy a friend of mine, who so graciously volunteered for a big job.....
Car emblems of every kind.....
Pennants, love the pop of color they add....
Kathy, myself and my sister Judy on the first day before opening, we didn't look this good by the end of the day with the crowd that came through on Thursday....
Buggy wheels, another of my favorites.....
Thermos of every color......
All the florals at the JB are real, nothing is fake, it really is striking when you see all the beautiful plants when you enter the JB....
Give me a few HOURS to recoop and I'll post some great photos of the whole experience. See ya soon!!
These seats came out of the Allen, Nebraska movie theatre about 50 years ago and placed in storage that long ago.
It took three truck loads to get them all out and hauled home.
They were in sections of 6 but we rearranged them to sets of 3 so they would be more useful in people's homes. I am bringing these to the Bonanza! Stop by and check them out, after we gave them a bath and oiled them up they are fabulous.
It was raining today so at the farm it was a mud marsh, you really do need your hip waders for this job, needless to say my tennis shoes where a little mushy after tromping around the farm.
These are the two big silos that house the corn to feed the cows, they use to hold silage, which is ground up hay, I really came out to check out these two big monsters. They happen to have a very cool pipe that runs up the side that looks really cool in your house. Ki, over at Junk Revolution, will be filling you in on that one.
John is giving this cow a shot, that looks like a big needle!
This is the pit where all the milking machines are located that get hooked up to the cows. This is Cecelia, she is charge of changing the milkers. Pretty amazing, huh?
This is the BIG milk tank that holds all the milk that comes from the cows. You can even get a COLD glass of milk from this tank fresh from the cow. I don't think you can get much fresher than that!
This is Steffview Farms "Grade A" Inspection Report, John runs a tight ship....
