Gold Rush Days or Bust!!!!

This past weekend I was invited to go to Oronoco, Minnesota to join Ki and some of the Junk Bonanza posse to help promote the Junk Bonanza and sell some really good junk! So Madison (my daughter) and I loaded up and headed to Oronoco for the big flea market. Boy did we have fun!

This is the trailer, it had to be a small load because I was sharing with the posse, didn't want to end up in junk jail for an overload, so I had to be conservative.....

The truck loaded and ready to hit the trail to one of the biggest flea markets in the midwest....

License plate letters were a hit!!

Meet Jane and Sara, they met me there, we worked our tails off getting the booth set up, of course, it was raining about the time we started setting up, but being devoted junkers the show must go on....
Junk.... my favorite word....

Sara and Madison smiling and greeting the customers. The temperature was almost 100 degrees on Friday, we felt like boiled lobsters when we got done that day, but the crowd was great, people were buying and we were passing the word about the Junk Bonanza as fast as we could hand out the cards....

Check out these very cool bingo cards, each one has a different advertisers name on it, all from Sioux City, Iowa........

Believe it or not, after I traveled 350 miles I seen two people I knew from Nebraska, so I went over to shop at their space and found some things, this wire fencing being one of them. Do you like?

I love these old vinyl chairs with no arms, and the color of this one was fabulous, which meant it had to go home with ME.......

Old street signs with some really cool names on them, you will have to stop over to my booth at the Bonanza if you'd like to see the others......

Barbels, barbels, and more barbels!!!!! I love these to use a s paper weights. 1 pound, 3 pound and 5 pound, for those really big piles, like the ones in my office right now....

Locker baskets.......

An old metal and galvanized cream separator, makes a great place to put ice and pop!

Love the label on this old ice cream freezer, I think you could still use this to make ice cream, the instructions are still inside.

Can you see a little child riding around in this? How adorable, but I think some pumpkins and fall gourds would look pretty cool in here too.

Ice Pal, I'm told this was used when you went ice fishing, it has runners so you could pull it behind you on the ice. What could this be used for?

Antlers.....

Handles.... maybe for towel holders?

Pulleys.... love the one with the star on it......

It was great fun, I met some new people, and made some new friends. Thanks Ki for inviting me, it was fabulous. Sign me up for next year!

All the things in the photos will be going to the Junk Bonanza in September, so don't forget to stop by and check it out. 30 days and counting...... start packing NOW.
