Found Some Great Things At Bonduel, Wisconsin~

This was the first thing I saw when we arrived at Bonduel, Wisconsin. There were no signs of "junk" as we drove into the city but things were about to change. A few blocks into the city there it was.... a weary traveling junkers paradise. The brakes on the truck suddenly made the truck come to a screeching halt!

And the next best thing was that the sign said OPEN!!!

As we got closer you can see that it looked like any whole hearted junker would have to make the stop without driving by......

Antiques and more !!!!!!! and more..... and more....

These cool galvanized nail bins were one of the first things I spotted as I went up to the side door of the shop. After eyeballing them I was sure we could fit them on the truck, I'm not sure if it was could fit or would make them fit.

I love old radios, this one was especially cute and in excellent shape....

I have a thing for old cast iron school bells but the price on those babies are usually out of my range.......

Any chair projects??? They had the corner on the market.....

The guard dog who was happy to see every visitor, he had to come and greet me and the fam....

Love old bicycles too, this was a fabulous Schwinn, check out the emblem......

Thought this was quite unusual, have never seen one of these and it was authentic.....

My husband and sons calculating how all 16 of those nail bins were going to fit in the truck....

Jack decided to be an observer and stay out of the packing process and be a innocent bystander......

One last shot of the Schwinn......

We managed to get all the nail bins in the truck and tied down, we even made it home with out even losing a single one. They are such good packers!

By the time we arrived home after driving 2,140 miles, the truck went through several processes of full and empty. Full when we left home, empty when we left Minneapolis, half full when we left the "Soo", full when we left Bonduel, half full when we left Minnetonka, and full again when we arrived home that night. Wow! can you believe we changed our load that many times?......... Neither could my husband.

Now for all the powerwashing......

  1. Were you driving when the truck came to a screeching halt? :) Looks like you've got a good crew of guys there too! What would we do without them!? Are you heading to MN this weekend? Have fun if you do!
