I have to share my bunting with you first, I bought this in a bag of old flags for $5, I didn't even know it was in there until I got home. It a very old American Standard bunting , notice the pleats along the top edge. It is one of my prized possessions for decorating for the 4th, so I borrowed it to my sister to decorate with for the holiday. Now on to the parade....
I love the huge flag that greets everyone as they come down main street. As you can see people were lining up along the street getting ready for the parade.
The flag and the freedom it represents to each and every one of us, thanks to our troops.....
The Tekamah-Herman marching band......
The Saddle Club wagon looking very festive......
Blackie Nelson and his team of ponies........
The Tekamah T-Bones, they have been playing together for over 30 years, I recognize some of these guys that were doing this when I was in high school that are still entertaining the crowd on the 4th.
Mitchell on his tractor.....
The Tanagers with their speedy little cars....
The Carp City Open dingy, looks like these guys are having a little fun!

Looks very festive. I can't believe I'm seeing folks in jackets. It's been over 100 here everyday, and in the 80's in the early early morning, but very humid. I'd love to escape for awhile. Can't wait till the bonanza in sept, that's my break from the HOT!!!!

What a fun parade! It had the two things I said was missing at our Elkhorn Day parade, horses & a marching band. Glad you had a fun day!
