What I Found On My Way Home

How many times have you discovered something by surprise?

I was on my way home from picking up some goodies from a fellow junker, I was going to go straight home BUT, needed to return some things to Sioux City, so I took a different route home. While passing through Merrill, Iowa, in which the highway does not go down main street, I caught a glimpse of a red, white, and blue flag with the word "antiques" on it. My heart immediately started racing, and I quickly made a right turn off the highway and around the block to see what I thought I saw. As I came around the corner, there were FOUR, read that, FOUR, shops in one block. Where was I going to start, and could I get through them all before closing?
Check out these great chairs! I love these. There are four of them. Don't know if I will be able to part with these.

Look at all the great stuff, 2 shops together and the back room. They cut a door way in the wall so you can go between to two shops. One clerk, two shops!

Check out his great desk I got! We had to move lots of things before we could actually get it out!

And the back room? This is just part of it! Check out those pink floral kitchen chairs.

Store #2 - Treasures - Where do you start?........ At the front and work your way back.

This store owner had a whole collection of head vases. They can cost anywhere from $50 - $500.

Cool old retro lamps.

Glasses of every shape, size and design.

Store # 4 - New To You -- Very nice shop with those one of kind items.

Another place packed full of junk!
I love this silver suitcases, excellent condition, great for storage.

This is a totally cool Kampcooler with a great color, see the splattery black paint, that is original!

Love, love, love game wheels!!! This one was to expensive for me but I had to have a picture.

All this has been under my nose for years. When I asked how long they had been open, they said 10 years, and this was the first time I had been here? Just goes to show you, check out every town you drive through, you never know what could be waiting for you!
Hope you enjoyed your trip in my junking world.

What secret is waiting for you to discover?
