I started this blog so I can share with all of you my junking trips, experiences, friends, and junking spots. As a child I use to go to auctions with my parents every weekend. They would bring home truck loads of antiques for pennies. At the time I hated it, but it must have had some sort of influence on me because it's what I do everyday of my life now. I can't imagine doing anything else than loving junk for a living.
My mother and I had a antique shop 20 years ago, I had my own shop 10 years ago, and now I have a building full of junk that is open by appointment only. This is where I stash all my really good junk.
I do have a family too, 1 husband, 1 daughter, 3 sons, and 2 grandsons that keep me very busy. So if I'm not junking I'm at dance, basketball, babysitting or who knows what. Of course, I have trained all the kids to love junk and now have started training my 3 year old granson. He went on our first junking trip with me just last week. He loved it.
With that said, let's get going!

I can't wait to go on a virtual junking trip with you. And would love to see your stash.

Looking forward to more of your posts, Cammie! I just watched the Junk Jaunt slide show again and it's making me anxious to go! Is the button necklace on Junk Revolution made by you? I love it! I'll have to get one.
ReplyDeleteSpring is coming! So, see ya soon.

No, the button necklace is not mine but it is really cute. Glad to hear you are enjoying the blog --- thanks for the words of encouragement. Keep watching!
