Hauling Lessons 101

There is just a few feet sticking out the back, that shouldn't hurt anything?  ....

And if you don't have a red flag just try the red cinch strap instead.....

You may have to use the ENTIRE length of the car, even the dash, so be prepared, also, passengers in the thrid seat may get a few slivers, but they can be removed easily, so not to worry.  Passengers in the second, you have doors, what a great deal for you!  I guess this just goes to show you...... "Where there's a will, there's a way!

  3. Love this! I bought an old wooden extension ladder a few months ago. Luckily a friend was at the consignment shop at the same time and offered to bring it home on top of his jeep. It wasn't until later that I realized just how big it was. Each piece is 16' long! I have one of them in my living room. It reaches to the highest point of my vaulted ceiling. I think I will have to figure out how to cut the other one in half for it to be very useful.

  4. Hehee. I just did this with a wooden extension ladder too. Two twelve foot sections. I have a conversion van and didn't have to use the dash but it was close. It's reassuring to see other "nuts" out there doing the same.
