Whistle Stop's Shopkeeper and Artisian Show

This Saturday was the Whistle Stop's outdoor market, so at the last minute we decided to go for it. So Friday afternoon we packed the trailer and took off at 5 a.m. on Saturday, I got up at 3 a.m., that is even too early for me!

Maddy with a smile even after getting up at 4 a.m., she is a trooper, my hubby and son helped too, I couldn't have done it without them.

Stopped and got some fresh flowers before we arrived to spruce up the place....

Wheels, you know I love those....

Meet Linda and Sara, they are just starting a new business called the Junque Factory, which will be in an old chicken coop on 192nd and Dodge in Omaha. Their sale will be June 17, 18, and 19. Looks like she has some super ideas so we are putting it on our calender to attend.

More flowers and oil carriers with fruit jars in them.....

Love the old books, such great covers and colors....

A few Rodeo pop bottles......
Check out our new creation, its a old coke cooler gone island/party pop cooler. It was quite a hit, lots of lookers but we still have it, which is ok cause I think the husband is kinda liking this one.

A little red, white and blue.....

A great work bench that did sell and is going to a home where it will be loved and used everyday!

Mr. Whistle Stop... he was making California tacos, roasted corn on the cob, and beans for everyone and boy were they good!!! He happens to be quite a cook!

One of the vendors was from Junktion 42, these two ladies had 3 spaces and all I seen them do was carry furniture out of their booth all day long. This is another very creative pair!

I'm very glad I met these two, I know we will be crossing paths again.... soon....Overall, we had a fabulous day, good food, good friends, new friends, great customers and of course the best hostess you could ever ask for, Laurie, Whistle Stop's one and only. Thanks for asking us to come down Laurie, we had a great time!
