If you haven't heard about Junkstock yet, let me fill you in.....this weekend was the first Junkstock of the year, where all you found was 6,000 people, a mountain of really good junk, music, peace and love...... the love of junk!
This was the line up early Friday morning, the line continued like this for another 4 hours, couldn't see the end of it for 4 hours!
There was some very cool junk.....
More cool junk......
Maddy and I had to take advantage of a photo opp by the Junkstock bus.....
Our picture perfect organizer, Sara......
A few parking lot deals went on......
Welcome to everyone......
And even our friendly traffic police, who were not to happy that the traffic was backed up from Dodge Street to Center Street on both sides of the street, plus two parking lots!!
Some great cast iron curly q's....
Even had some visitors from Woodstock!
These girls really said... Peace, Love and Junk....
My husband and our neighbor Jeff, who kept me hydrated with ice tea from Starbucks everyday...
The help... my sister and daughter.....
All of the vendors from Junkstock on Sunday, we were all tired, happy, and sweaty....
My niece and daughter loved the bus too....
Shelby was wondering how you get this party bus started?
This was the most famous photo opp of the weekend, our booth was right by it, there were hundreds of pics taken with this peace sign over the weekend.....
So if you missed Junkstock, you really missed the boat, this was one of the funniest things we've done in a while. For more pics go to facebook and look up Junkstock along with many vendors who have been posting pictures. Try to make it next time, you won't be disappointed!! Promise!
I'd also like to thank all the customers, old and new, who made the trip out to see us, all of my family and friends who help set up and load, and to Sara for all her hard work, kuddos to you girlfriend!
Peave, Love , and Junk!
